Home Up

What we did in 2007:

The Emerald Dinner was held on February 17, 2007, at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge. A sell-out crowd enjoyed the music of The Ploughboys, excellent food, and a great time! West Suburban Irish donated $2,500 to St. Baldrick's Foundation thanks to the success of the Emerald Dinner!

The Irish Mass at Saints Peter & Paul Church was another beautiful service, and saw more people than ever before attend.

The 2007 St. Patrick's Parade was perhaps the best yet. For the second year in a row, we were blessed with great weather and a huge crowd.

Over the summer months, WSI members helped out serving beverages at Naper Days and at Ribfest in Naperville.

WSI members and guests also enjoyed Irish Heritage Night at a Joliet Jackhammers baseball game.

WSI's monthly pub Quiz Night  at Quigley's Irish Pub continues to grow. The inaugural season was a great success, and the second year commenced in October, 2007.

WSI members again rode a float and walked in Naperville's Hometown Holidays Parade on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Members of the West Suburban Irish celebrated Christmas at Quigley's Irish Pub.

Membership in the West Suburban Irish continues to grow.
