The Emerald Dinner

The 2010 Emerald Dinner was held at White Eagle, on Saturday, March 6, 2010.

The Emerald Dinner is the main annual fundraiser for the West Suburban Irish.

It combines good food, good friends, and good music.

The proceeds of the dinner support the St. Patrick's Day Parade and the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

The 2010 Emerald Dinner again featured the music of Billy Croft and the Gluesticks, as well as dance performances by the Trinity Irish Dancers and the McNulty Irish Dancers, who lead the group in a ceili dance.

Raffle prizes were given away throughout the evening, with the Grand Prize of a trip for two to Ireland (courtesy of Aer Lingus) with six nights' bread & breakfast accommodations and use of a Hertz rental car for a full week (courtesy of CIE Tours International), to be drawn on St. Patrick's Day, at 9:30 pm, at Quigley's irish Pub. Winner need not be present to win the Grand Prize.

The 2009 Emerald Dinner was held on Saturday, February 28th, at White Eagle Golf Club. It was a rousing good time!

A raffle raised over $4,000. The grand prize was a trip to Ireland for two, courtesy of Aer Lingus and CIE Tours International.	Parade Grand Marshall Mike Connelly, with Parade co-chairs Chuck Corrigan and Nancy Quigley.
The Firefighters Highland Guard of Naperville kicked off the evening with a few tunes.	Grand Marshall Mike Connelly and Parade Queen Bridget Deely.
Mary and Chuck Corrigan, and their son, John (center). The Corrigan family was named Irish Family of the Year. Not shown are their children Charlie, Katie, Bryan and Kevin.	The politicians in the audience came up to lead everyone in singing "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling."
