Home Up

We had fun marching in the Hometown Holidays Parade, Friday, November 27, 2009.

There was a big crowd, especially near the Library and along Main Street. We had a good turnout of WSI members.

Thanks to Maureen Murphy for organizing, to Fred McEwen for putting together the banner, and to everyone who brought candy and glowsticks to pass out to the crowd.

Prior Years:

Unseasonably warm weather and a chance to meet Santa drew large crowds to downtown Naperville for the Hometown Holidays Parade on Friday, November 24, 2006.

The West Suburban Irish joined other community groups marching in the parade. The WSI float featured the Irish flag, and flags from Irish counties and towns. Children and grandchildren of WSI members rode the float or marched alongside.
