About this event
The West Suburban Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade is a family event enjoyed by all ages and celebrates Irish heritage and culture. The Parade attracts over 3,000 participants and over 15,000 spectators.
The Parade route will extend across Aurora Avenue from Main Street down to Porter and finish at Central H.S.

The Parade route will extend across Aurora Avenue from Main Street down to Porter and finish at Central H.S.
Please ensure the backdrop on your float is not over 11 feet from the ground to the top of any backdrop.
Please know the rules regarding throwing of candy and other items!
** CITY OF NAPERVILLE RULE ON THROWING OF CANDY (and other items) **
Nothing can be thrown from floats or vehicles, or by marchers in the Parade.
You may hand out wrapped candy, literature, or other items to those watching the Parade,
but do not throw such items.
Please walk along the sides of the Parade route while handing out your items and avoid having children run into the street to retrieve anything.
