WSI Quarterly Meeting & An Evening of Irish Ghost Stories
Join the West Suburban Irish (WSI) for our quarterly meeting, followed by a hauntingly good evening of Irish storytelling with Tim O’Sullivan on Friday, October 30!
We’ll begin the evening with a brief WSI quarterly meeting, a chance to hear what’s happening with WSI, share updates and connect with fellow members. We’ll then turn our attention to our featured storyteller, Tim O’Sullivan, and an evening of:
- Spooky Irish folklore

- Eerie Irish recitations
- And LOTS of ghost stories!

About Tim O'Sullivan
Tim O’Sullivan has been captivated by the fables, folklore and ghost stories of Ireland from an early age. He carries on the centuries-old seanachie tradition of Irish storytelling — the art of gathering around the fireside and keeping stories alive through memory, voice and the spoken word.
For more than 40 years, Tim has shared these timeless Irish tales with audiences in Ireland and throughout the United States. He has performed haunting ghost stories in remote and rugged settings along Ireland’s west coast and brought epic tales to audiences in cities across America. His performances have included appearances alongside renowned Irish seanachie Paddy Homan.
Through his storytelling, Tim brings the rich tradition, humor, mystery and spirit of old Ireland to life, inviting audiences to experience these stories much as they were meant to be heard — gathered together and listening around the fire.
