Call for Irish Fest Volunteers

The West Suburban Irish needs volunteers to help put on this year's Irish Fest. A two-day event on Friday and Saturday, September 19, 2025, at Naperville's Central Park located in Downtown Naperville.

The quality of Irish Fest depends entirely on the people who give their time to make it happen. Being a volunteer is more than lending a hand, it’s the crucial role that makes the Fest an event to look forward to. See a list of the volunteer roles and their descriptions on the volunteer page of the website.

Why volunteer at Naperville Irish Fest?

Have fun with your friends while supporting the WSI in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Help a local charity! WSI will make a $25 contribution to one of five local non-profit organizations on your behalf.
You get FREE entry into Naperville Irish Fest on the day of your shift.
You get a nifty Irish Fest volunteer t-shirt.
Chip away at your community service hours goal.

Overall, it takes between 200 and 220 volunteers to support the Fest. Each of our volunteers contributes their knowledge and skills to the West Suburban Irish organization, and they generously donate their time to ensure that our events are a success!

Dates and Times

Friday 9/18/26 the schedule is 4:00 PM and 10:00PM

Saturday 9/19/26 the schedule is 12:00 PM and 10:00PM

Shifts are 2 hours to 2.5 hours

As you know the WSI Irish Fest relies on volunteers to make the Irish Fest a success and we thank everyone that have volunteered in the past.

This year we have selected 6 local organizations that volunteers may choose from to receive the $25 donation.

The 6 charities are

Select one charity to receive a $25 donation: Alive Center, Loaves & Fishes, Naperville Humane Society, St Patrick's Residence, Institute of Traditional Irish Music, Irish Community Services

West Suburban Irish's Mission Activities:

Mass in Honor of St. Patrick, Sham-Rocker Fundraiser, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Trip to Ireland Raffle, Naperville Irish Fest, Irish Pub Crawl, Service Award, Charitable Contributions, Monthly Quiz Night, Monthly Irish Trad Music, Nora Moran Marovich Award, Irish Scarfs and more.
